Freeze the measurement
After turn on the instrument, press the “HOLD” button to saved measured value, the “HOLD“ icon will show on the screen. By pressing the “HOLD” button shortly, the measuring mode will get reactivated.
Calibration board
Calibration board is located inside the protective cover. Before using, put the measure pins on the calibration board to calibrate, then the measure value would be re-recorded.
Automatic Power-Off Feature
If you don’t operate the instrument (or the reading does not change) for about 10 minutes, the instrument will be turn off automatically.
STEP 1:
1. Please press the ON/OFF button to start the moisture meter.
2. Press the MODE to choose the measuring mode for wood or building material
STEP 2:
1. Put the pins penetrate into the test surface, make sure it is stable to get the readings.
2. You can quickly know the %MC is Low (5-12%), Medium (12-17%) or High (17-60%).
STEP 3:
1. When the readings is stable, press the HOLD button to hold the readings.
2. Memory function: If you have held the value and then turn off the instruction, you will see the same value when you turn on the device again.
