I've collected 3D Stereo items for the last 30 years. It's come time that I pass along these hard to find items to someone else to enjoy. This is a battery operated Realist Red Button Stereoscopic Viewer Model ST 61. The viewer was manufactured by David White Company made to accompany the Realist Stereo cameras. It comes with 25 Realist format slides in Kodak Kodachrome cardboard mounts and a light blue zippered soft case for storage and travel.
Condition of the Viewer:
This viewer is in excellent condition! The viewer has been completely serviced and checked and is in GREAT working condition - ready to last another 50-60 years! There are no cracks or chips in the bakelite! The lenses are clean and clear and the focus adjustment and interocular adjustments work perfectly. I have gone through the viewer, cleaned the lenses and all electrical contact points, put in a new bulb and tested it thoroughly - It works pristine and the insides are immaculate!  It takes two "D" size batteries (not included) so it it is mobile and can be taken anywhere. The only flaws are superficial wear. This is the 74th Serviced Red Button Realist I have sold on ebay.
Condition of the Soft Case:
It has been very gently used and in excellent condition. All zippers work perfectly.
Condition of the Vintage Slides:
In addition to the viewer, there are 25 color 3D Realist format slides in Kodak red bordered Kodachrome cardboard mounts that are also included - These were typically used in the 1950s - 1960s. They are views of places and vacations. Very interesting stuff! The condition of all slides is excellent with no damage or fading.
