    Description

Exceptionally rare vintage perfume factice in very fine condition.
PLEASE NOTE WELL: THIS IS A COLLECTIBLE FACTICE THAT DOES NOT CONTAIN PERFUME
Vent Vert was released in 1947 by the House of Balmain and was composed by the innovative perfumer, Germaine Cellier (1909-1976). Vent Vert was a groundbreaking "green" composition that set the standard for this type of perfume for many years.
This factice appears to date to the period of the original production of Vent Vert (1947-1960) and is a larger version of the classic parfum flacon.  The condition is pristine, with the classic baudruchage (membrane) intact and an untouched glossy gold cord wrapping the neck.  The base of the glass bottle is molded with the words "Pierre Balmain" and Made in France"
Balmain perfumes were purchased by Revlon in 1960. Since then, Vent Vert has been reformulated multiple times and reissued in different bottles.
    Approximate size 6" x 6" x 6"
