The outdoor Iris
TM
PRO 5-in-1 Integrated Multi-Sensor is completely wireless and contains a self-emptying rain collector for measuring rainfall, temperature/humidity sensor, anemometer and wind vane. The anemometer measures wind speed and the wind vane indicates wind direction. The Iris PRO 5-in-1 Integrated Multi-Sensor is battery powered and features a solar panel for running an internal aspirating fan, to insure the most accurate ambient temperature and humidity. The internal fan will assist in drawing ambient air through to reduce the heating effects of solar radiation, resulting in a more accurate air temperature measurement. The patent-pending wireless outdoor sensor features five different technologies in one easy-to-mount unit.
